Terra Cotta Happy Pill
These quirky faces might be just what you need in your garden or patio flower pot to add a little 'happy' to your day. Mark Clark initially made these based on a sketch his young daughter drew. As he creates each one individually, the personalities vary from face to face. The piece is made of a steel frame, with coloured concrete cast to make the face. Curvy legs are thick 1/2" steel rod.
This sculptural piece has been deliberately 'pre-weathered' then sealed with an oil to protect. The concrete has a weathered, muted tone. If installed outdoors, the oil will gradually disappear and more rust will develop, but not to worry, it won't rust away! This piece can be left outside all year, but will weather more slowly if covered or brought indoors for the winter.
While the photos here are of the exact Happy Pills that we have in stock, the colouring may vary a bit due to your screen resolution and our photography. The concrete portions may have superficial cracks which will not impact their longevity.
Steel and Concrete. Approximately 8" diameter face and 36" tall.
