Meghan Wagg Designs
Meghan Wagg does not look very far to get inspired for the organic lines of her jewellery. Her particular fascination is the anatomical complexities of the human body; the branching patterns of the circulatory system and the striations of muscle fiber. She works mainly in sterling silver, but also incorporates resin, layering it with texture of her silver forms.
Meghan is originally from Saint John, NB. She studied painting at NSCAD University, but quickly changed paths once she discovered her love for metal. In 2006 she moved to Edmonton, AB. Here she worked under veteran goldsmith, Wayne Mackenzie for 5 invaluable years, developing her technique and design sense. Meghan now continues to live in Edmonton, working out of her own studio space.
Care Instructions: epoxy resin pieces wear well and sustain their colour. When cleaning, treat as you would a softer, semi-precious stone, washing with a soft cloth and mild dish soap. Avoid abrasive silver cleaners.
