Mark Clark
Canadian artisan Mark Clark specializes in the design and creation of kinetic sculpture. In Sydney, Australia he trained and apprenticed with G. Gouvnier, a third generation New Zealand blacksmith. Upon his return to Canada, Mark was able to translate his new skills into traditional and contemporary art forms.
Mark has a flair for meticulously balancing steel and stone; clever configurations of materials allow each piece to move quietly with the wind. Be it a desktop ‘Galaxy’ or a ten foot tall ‘rock tree’, Mark is inspired to create and fascinate with art that lasts a lifetime.
