XL Leaf Frame
Our popular leaf frame design is also available in this XL size. This piece has been designed to hang outdoors year around with no maintenance needed. The leaf is made of carbon steel and left to oxidize. It hangs from a hidden saw tooth welded behind the leaf. Stainless steel pins hold the entire piece away from the wall, creating a bit of a shadow, but also adding some protection to the wall from rust staining.
The colour comes from genuine rust! If you prefer to hang this inside, we suggest sealing it with a clear lacquer designed for metal such as Tremclad to reduce scaling. As each item is made by hand there may be variations in shape or colouring.
We create these leaves to order right here in our on-site metalworking studio. Turn around time is approx. 2 weeks. Please let us know if you need to rush this process. We'll to our best!
