Chimes Pendant

This pendant is made of stacked layers of copper and glass, resembling a chime albeit a silent one.  The copper has texture embossed on it and the glass has an iridescent sparkle.

Approx. 1 3/4" long pendant on 24" sterling silver rolo chain with lobster clasp.

Sassafras Artistic Design is the creative work of Victoria and Bobby Kirk, along with their two daughters. Bobby brings over twenty five years of glass experience working in the stained glass industry as well as the production of glass, bead making and fusing.  He has also completed courses in metalsmithing. Victoria is from a retail jewellery background as well as the stained glass industry.

Sassafras creates truly unique jewellery. There will always be some variation in the pieces due to the properties of the glass, which means each piece can never be entirely duplicated. The glass is fused, cut and given a matte finish. The metals are hand forged and then given texture and patina. Their style evokes a combination of rustic, warmth and softness with earth tones. They live and work in Shallow Lake, Ontario.
