Enameled Heart Pendant
This sweet little enameled copper heart is a wear-every-day necklace to celebrate love. It makes a great gift for a girlfriend, wife, daughter, niece, best friend, or for yourself. As this wee heart comes with a copper chain, it's also a perfect 7th anniversary present.
Enamel is a natural form of quartz. In simple terms, it involves dusting a copper backing with glass powder, then melting it with a torch or kiln to fuse into a solid glass surface. The little flecks in the colour are a beautiful result of this process. Kiona hammers the heart into a slight dome shape. She enamals the front a vibrant colour and the back with a dk green-grey fleck.
Pendant is approximately 3/4" wide by 1/2" tall. The copper chain is adjustable from 16"-18" long and finished with a little spring ring clasp.
Care Tips: Avoid exposing enamel to extreme temperatures, cosmetics, lotions, acetone (such as nail polish remover) or jewelry cleaner. Remove jewellery before swimming or showering.
