Constantine Jewellery
Lynda Constantine tells us her main design inspiration comes from nine years of living, working and traveling in Asia, Africa, and Europe. A significant period of her time abroad was spent in Japan. There she studied a dynamic form of shodo (Japanese calligraphy) under internationally recognized Chihiro Nakamura. Lynda learned that beauty could be depicted with one intentional stroke of a brush. She took this insight with her when she returned to Canada in 1997 to pursue a careen in jewellery design.
Lynda brings this same intention to celebrate the beauty of simplicity to her metal work, incorporating a design sense fostered by the streamlined lifestyle of a traveler framed in a contemporary, modern context. Observations and experiences stay with Lynda through the creation of her jewelry, in which she uses sterling silver and 14 karat gold.
Lynda resides and has her studio in Nova Scotia.
Care Instructions: Clean jewellery on a regular basis in hot soapy water (dish soap is recommended), rinse and store in an airtight plastic bag. Oxidization on silver can be removed with a silver cleaning cloth
