This is the quintessential Canadian jewellery as it is literally made from a piece of Canada!  Wendy repurposes drilled core samples of the Canadian Shield (i.e. stone that has been drilled from deep in the earth by mining companies).  She cuts thin slices on a diamond saw to reveal the unique mineral face of each pendant.  She then wraps the piece with sterling silver wire.  A cluster of trees are drawn on in ink and a freshwater pearl with silver surround becomes the moon in this scene. The entire pendant is then sealed to complete.

Size: approx. 1 7/8" diameter on a heavy 18" sterling silver chain with lobster clasp.

We recommend removing jewellery when using sunscreen and prior to swimming or showering.

outstanding statement piece

This is the statement piece I was looking for. A piece of my home in the North. It's a slice of a core sample of an industry that drives a significant portion of life where I am from. It rests on my heart with everyone who has meant so much to me over the years. The North teaches generously what community means. When I need to remember my foundation it is right there.
