Tim calls his enamel jewellery 'contemporary Primitivism'. We also see the playful randomness in this design that makes it super-wearable. This pendant shows a richly enameled background leaf layered with a copper vein detail on the top.
The artist hand-cuts the intricate copper backings for this lightweight pendant, then fires glass powder to achieve the desired soft speckled colouring. The copper parts have been hammered to a slight cove form, with a dark, oxidized copper back.
The pendant leaf measures approximately 1" x 1 7/8" and includes an 18" sterling silver chain.
