This is the quintessential Canadian jewellery as it is literally made from a piece of Canada! Wendy repurposes drilled core samples of the Canadian Shield (i.e. stone that has been drilled from deep in the earth by mining companies). She cuts thin slices on a diamond saw to reveal the unique mineral face of each pendant.
Wendy carves away part of the stone to create a natural horizon line at the top of the pendant. She then wraps the piece with sterling silver wire. Finally, a tree and bird are painted on with ink then the piece is sealed to complete. This pendant is reversible if you prefer to wear it plain on one side, tree on the other.

Size: approx. 1 7/8" diameter on a heavy 18" sterling silver chain with lobster clasp.
