Camper Van Pendant

Fond holiday memories or dreams of life on the road?  This quirky pendant is a perfect reminder, or just a great conversation starter.  Jenny fuses the sterling silver silhouette to a copper backing then finishes both in a soft brushed texture.  The sterling silver chain with oversized lobster clasp is oxidized, but frequent wearing could brighten the silver. Which is okay!

Stray stones is the work of designer and metalsmith Jenny Pulling. In the early ‘nomadic’ years, time spent with talented and resourceful Latin American artisans inspired her to explore the use of found objects in her own jewellery.  The name of her company was born from this early use of ‘stray stones’ gathered on her travels. 

Jenny returned to Canada in 2011, and applied herself to standard training in traditional metalsmithing technique. She since has built on that foundation, developing her own techniques and style to create this unique collection from sterling silver, copper and brass.
