Swallows Plaque
This plaque is a laminated reproduction from original artwork. Tonya prepares the birch plywood blocks in her studio, paints the edges black then uses bookbinding adhesive to attach the image to the front. A sawtooth hanger is nailed on the back of the block which hangs on wall/sits on shelf. Tonya's signature completes the back.

Tonya Gray is no stranger to the art world. For many years she occupied herself with producing a line of ceramic ornaments, but did not find that fulfilling. In 2012 she finally acknowledged that her heart truly just wanted to paint! Tonya closed up her ceramics business and now focusses exclusively on her new love. She sells her originals at art shows, but lucky for us, she also reproduces these images onto art cards and mini wall plaques.
Tonya's images are inspired by folk art with vibrant, eye-catching colours and simple subject matters. She happily works out of her Portland, OR studio.
