Kinetic sculpture with a quirky twist - this has been Mark's preferred style of creativity in many of his sculptural pieces. While the designs appear simplistic, it actually takes a great deal of skill to balance the elements and design just so. Particularly challenging when using the recycled materials he puts in his pieces. Mark created this sculpture with a complex column of steel filled with concrete. He topped it with a carefully balanced arc - steel and glass 'weights' are part function, part mobile that are slowly rotated by the breeze.
This sculptural piece has been deliberately 'pre-weathered' then sealed with an oil to protect. If installed outdoors, the paint will gradually fade and more rust will develop. Spraying the piece with a clear coat (such as Tremclad) will slow this process.
Approximate size 52"tall x 55" wide. Surface cracks in the concrete are normal and do not impact the stability of the sculpture. This piece can be shipped, but we will have to quote that separately.
