Christine and Reid take their glass ornaments to the next level in creating this wall plaque. First the glass design is created like their other ornaments - fabric sandwiched between two pieces of glass and soldered shut. These elements are then adhered to a rustic wood plaque. The back is finished with a sawtooth hanger and bumpers to keep it straight on the wall.
Below the sailboat is a separate glass frame saying "Time for a Cool Change". This could be a thoughtful gift for the graduate, or a new retiree, anyone sailing off on a fresh direction in life.
Approximately 6" x 8". The plaque is 1" thick and can be free standing as well.
